Best Little Aussies is located in Stephenville & Granbury TX and proudly serves families across Texas including Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston.

About Our Program

Best Little Aussies is a non-commercial, purpose-driven breeding program focused on the preservation and improvement of the Toy & Miniature Australian Shepherd (Miniature American Shepherd) through conformation showing and working ability. Our dogs are evaluated in recognized venues, and breeding decisions are made with careful attention to structure, temperament, health, and breed standard. Puppies are chosen for our program first, those not retained are offered to families as pets and prospects. Please note that puppies are priced as companions- breeding rights/full registraion are an addtional fee.

🎃 Pumpkin – Puppy Update 🎃

Pumpkin continues to steal hearts everywhere she goes. As the smallest puppy in the Autumn Harvest litter, she may be little, but she has a personality that is larger than life. She absolutely loves to cuddle and would happily spend her day snuggled up with her favorite people.

This sweet girl has developed into a confident, affectionate puppy with a wonderful off switch. She enjoys playing with her siblings but is just as content curling up beside you for a nap. Pumpkin has the gentle, loving temperament that makes her an exceptional companion.

She is doing great with crate training, is fully litterbox trained, and has started learning her basic obedience foundations.

Her small scar has healed beautifully and is becoming less noticeable every week.

Pumpkin may be the smallest in the litter, but she has one of the biggest hearts. This sweet girl loves nothing more than cuddle time and being close to her people. She is happy to curl up in your lap, soak up attention, and hand out plenty of puppy kisses. Pumpkin received a great report from the vet and is thriving. She does have a small scar on her back from a puppy mishap, but it is healing beautifully and should soon be barely noticeable as she grows and matures.

👑 Reign – 9 Week Update 👑

Reign continues to be one of the sweetest boys in the Crown & Crest Litter. This handsome blue merle is incredibly people-oriented and simply wants to be wherever his person is. Whether I’m working outside, spending time at the barn, or relaxing in the yard, Reign is content to follow along and find a shady spot nearby to keep me company.

He is proving to be a thoughtful, easygoing puppy who enjoys being part of everyday life. His affectionate nature and willingness to stay connected make him a joy to have around.

Reign is also making wonderful progress with his training. He is doing great with crate training, is fully litterbox trained, and has started learning his basic obedience foundations. He approaches new lessons with confidence and a willing attitude, making him a fun puppy to work with.

Majesty continues to be our show pick from the Crown & Crest Litter, and every week she gives us another reason to love her. She is an exceptionally balanced puppy with beautiful angles throughout, and I especially love her rear assembly—it is my favorite in the litter.

Beyond her structure, Majesty has the temperament we’ve worked hard to produce. She is confident, outgoing, and takes new experiences in stride. She’s already doing wonderfully in the house with our older dogs, enjoys spending time with respectful kiddos, and has even joined us at the lake where she happily plays and explores.

To top it all off, Majesty has a gorgeous expression with one full blue eye and one beautifully marbled eye, making her just as eye-catching as she is well put together.
