About Our Program
Best Little Aussies is a non-commercial, purpose-driven breeding program focused on the preservation and improvement of the Toy and Mini Australian Shepherd and Miniature American Shepherd through conformation showing, performance, and working ability.
Our dogs are evaluated in recognized venues, and breeding decisions are made with careful attention to structure, temperament, health, genetic diversity, and breed type. We breed first and foremost for the future of our program. Puppies are evaluated as they mature, with select puppies retained for our breeding and show program. Puppies not retained are then offered to carefully selected families as companions, performance prospects, and show prospects when appropriate.
Puppies are priced as companions. Breeding rights and/or full registration are not included in companion pricing and, when available, require additional approval and an additional fee.
