About Us
How We Got Started
My background is animal science- I hold a Masters Degree in the subject from Tarleton State University as well as a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. I have a passion for science and education- I enjoy learning new and better ways to keep our dogs as healthy as possible and enjoy science based training techniques and the study of animal behavior. This is why our puppies are handled daily from birth and exposed to as many different situations as possible before going to their new homes. We want them to go home well rounded and ready for their exciting life ahead.
A little about our family:
Jason and I met over our incredible love of animals and our lives revolve around them. In the spring we calve out our small herd of commercial Angus cattle and spend a lot of time on the farm. The dogs love to go to the farm with us and run on the several hundred acres of woods, ponds, and pasture.
Jason left the Oil Field in 2018 to care for his grandmother with dementia. She lived with us full time and adored the puppies. Alzheimers took her from us in Oct 2019.
The two of us make a great team, often finishing each others sentences and our love for the farm and animal life has helped us develop a top-notch program. We attend dog shows monthly, where we both show in conformation.
Our Mission
Once there was a time that families took care of their own. They respected the land they culitavated, the nourishment it provided, and those that come before them.
Once there was a time that a dog was man’s best friend-his most loyal companion, and man had the right to choose where obtain the best friend for his family- we believe in these rights and beliefs.
Our Programs
We believe in the future of the toy and miniaute australian shepherd. It is our goal to maintain the legacy of this legandary working dog breed.
Planned Litters
Each year we only offer a few puppies that do not fit our program to well qualified families.
Healthy Dogs
Our dogs are maintained at the highest level of healthcare possible. We are constantly striving to find the best in nutrition, enrichment, and health care.
Science Based Training
A well trained dog is a happy dog. All of our dogs are pets first. They are our kids, sleep in the bed with us. We enjoy taking them to conformation shows and working our cattle.
