A Few Thoughts Before Getting Your New Mini or Toy Australian Shepherd

A puppy is like a new member of the family. They will bring years of joy and enrichment to the lives of those they touch. Please consider the following before choosing to add a new canine to your family.

  • Mini Aussies (and Toys) have a life expectancy of 12-16 years.
  • Please consider your living arrangements, will you be able to accommodate your new companion now and in the future.
  • We perform genetic and other heath testing to ensure a healthy pup that grows into a healthy dog. You will still need to provide proper vet care for your new aussie. This includes vaccinations and monthly heart worm and flea prevention. At 6 months you will need to plan to have your mini aussie spayed or neutered unless you have purchased the breeding rights to your pup (more info on breeding rights here)
  • We are here for you as a support system for the life of your mini aussie. It is our highest recommendation that you stat puppy classes, then obedience classes soon after getting your new mini aussie. The more you put into your pup in the beginning the better dog you will have for years to come.

Yes…but not on puppies that are ready to go now.

You may place a deposit on a puppy that is not yet ready to go and make payments until your pup is 8 weeks old.

You may place a deposit on a future litter- identifying the sex, color and size you want. When this pup becomes available you will be first on the list to have your choice of this puppy.

How can we make the final payment when we arrive to pick he or she up?

Of course cash is best. You may also use the forms we accept for deposits. We can also send an invoice (owner is responsible for the 3% fee) or accept credit cards in person. NO PAYPAL ON PICKUP
